Brava to you for taking this step to take care of yourself! I suspect your cheerfulness is indeed a recognition that you've taken, as you say, "a definitive step to improve life." Here's to no more hours of crying for no clear reason. (Thank goodness for crying, a nice clear physiological reaction to say we're overwhelmed.) Wishing you everything good, dear WN?.

^^What Meansomething said!

It sounds like this is a good idea for you. I hope it works out well.

Kudos to you for getting meds that will (probably) help. There should be no stigma or shame in taking them, cuz if you had diabetes or something you would take your insulin, right? Easier said than done, I know, but still. Good on ya and good luck. (I <3 lexapro myself; wouldn't have gotten tenure without it!)

There's nothing wrong with getting the meds you need to feel halfway normal. Let the guilt go. I hope it works as well for you as it does for me. When life looks that bad for no reason, it's a good call.

Who cares what the therapist thinks. He works for you!
