How exciting! I haven't been around for a while and when I come back, I find you're doing this very interesting project! And I think tracking your hours will be great because then you'll (and by extension, your blogreaders like me!) get to see exactly how much goes into a writing project -- writing time as well as reading, researching, and even thinking. I also tend to think that I'm pretty slow and fear tracking all of that, but I bet I'd find out really interesting things about my process, which probably does include some preparatory plunking and procrastinating before getting down to business.

Ooh I'm excited to hear more! I'm so glad that the move to FGS has been so good that now you're inspired and being supported to write a history of it! Woohooo!
