What a great idea! I would love to take a class with my husband and learn something new--we met as students in the same graduate program, and one of the hallmarks of our relationship was discussing ideas with each other as we learned them. I keep threatening him with dancing or cooking lessons, but sadly, our schedule never permits. Looking forward to hearing more mahjong adventures!

OMG. I have long wanted to learn how to play Mah Jong. A gay Taiwanese-American friend of mine taught a bunch of us at a party several years ago, but I was never able to get a group going (and then I moved).

If Cosimo and I lived near you and D, we'd totally play with you!

Ooo the Catskill ladies sing this song ... doo dah doo dah
Sitting round the card table playing Mahjong ... all the doo dah day!
