That's great! AND you figured out what your walk-away point was and got those concessions. Winning all around!

Whee! I am so delighted that you're going to get this opportunity, that you were the unanimous choice for the job, and that we get to find our way together!

Congratulations! Celebration time!

Congrats! I actually thought that you would get it. I don't know why, but I just felt like it. I'm department chair by default. There's only me in my department, so no real staffing issues . . . Yet. Lots of meetings, wherein I contribute to broader conversations about the school, which I very much like. Enjoy, and good luck!

I'm so glad that you have an outcome that you're happy about! Good luck and congrats!

Congratulations! You'll do a good job, for sure! Hopefully, you'll also enjoy the work and extra responsibility.

A one-year gig is a really good way to try out admin. If you like it, then you know; and if it turns out you don't, it doesn't last that long. Good luck!

Congratulations What Now! You're going to be great.

Wonderful! Congratulations!

(And after our division meeting on Wednesday, it looks like I might be Humanities division chair next year...in which case, can I join you in the figuring-it-out club?)

Congratulations! Proof that good news CAN come in short meetings.

I'm obviously super behind with commenting, but I still wanted to pop by to say congratulations! :-)
